Biomaterials-enzymes used in biochemical diagnosis

Biomedical reagents generally refer to a variety of reagent sets used in biomedicine for a certain detection purpose, and biomaterials are a variety of protein-based raw materials integrated in different types of biomedical reagents.

Clinically, development of relevant instruments and design of diagnostic protocols were basically based on the principles of biochemistry in the biochemical diagnostic field. Uric acid test and ketone test are common biochemical tests other than blood glucose detection, which shows significance for the monitoring of human physiological status. Among them, uricase is an enzyme involved in uric acid metabolism and is widely used to measure the concentration of uric acid in blood; blood ketone dehydrogenase is related to the monitoring of ketone production in the blood, and should be regularly tested in diabetic patients and ketogenic diet practitioners.

Eternal Materials provides uricase (ISO13485-certificated) and blood ketone dehydrogenase with high quality and stability. Both of them can be applied to the development of biochip and/or in vitro diagnostic medical devices (including POCT).
